I only have 2 modules left - just two modules left for my Nail Tech Course which I have deferred from until next year.
My trainer sggested I just finish it off at my own pace until it was time to go back but I cannot seem to get motivated.
I have my Acrylic and Gel modules theory and just Acrylic practical the theory I am sure I could bump off in no time once I got started but the practical is proving very difficult, I simply do not have 10 people to practise my application or rebalance on.
I could do myself and at a stretch my MIL (mind you she grizzles about everything I do wrong which doesn't help when you are still learning) possibly a friend but she'll be dificult to do a rebalance on because she lives so far away and it takes months to actually get her locked in for a visit
That just leaves 8 more plus an extra when I actually go in to do the exam.
THAT is what I am finding is deflating my motivation!!
PLUS they must be live models and not practise hands
If I lived any closer I'd offer you mine!! My hands are awful at the moment...
There may some BB members who live close by that are willing to give you a hand (pun intended..Lol).
Just think you are so close to finishing...but I know what it's like, I just finished all my TAFE work for my traineeship, and just in time too as it ends next Friday! But the last few units I had to do I just couldn't be stuffed...however because it was work-based I didn't do it any of it at home, it was all done at work so that made it a bit easier.
Believe me, if I was any closer to you I'd let you do anything to my nails !! They're in a very bad way....I used to get my nails done but haven't been back for a while....maybe you can move to Aspendale Gardens ??? ha ha
