Do you have/use a clothes dryer?
I do not have one but was staying at my Aunties last month and put Matildas in her dryer and oh my gosh, I thought I had new nappies!!!
I do not know of other ways though, I will be watching this thread.

you can sorta shake them briskly when you get them off the line, or ball them up and roll them in your hands like - or shove them in the dryer for a few minutes. Any of those things should work![]()
o.k mel might have to try that thanks, can i put anything in the wash with them?
No fabric softener if thats what you are thinking![]()
Not really, fabric softener will reduce absorbency slightly, so scrunching, finishing off in the dryer are your options.
was thinking viniger?????
That might work, but probably not every time - I think vinegar can wear down fabric or elastic over time?
or dry in the shade![]()
I scrunch when sun-dried and while I'm folding i shake them a bit and that makes them softer. But tumble-drying will make them very soft.
Yep, i chuck mine is the dryer for a few mins after they come off the line and they are pretty soft. No one likes a scratcy nappy on their butt!
