A couple of my itti bitti AIO's have lost elasticity around the leg. Now they tend to leak a bit. Is there any way to fix it (not the worlds most talented sewer) or should I just leave them as emergency back ups and get some new ones?
just bumping this one up as we are having issues with a few of our Bum Genius elastics..after 2 and a bit years of fulltime use the elastic is going on some...to the point where yesterday DD pooped on her foot!
is there any saving them???? i was really hoping to use them for the next bubba...
Ask Maz if she'll fix the elastic? Either that or I know a chick from another forum who fixes them for about $5.
With the ittis - try to google for instructions on how to fix them, they are listed on the same other forum - step by step (by the chick who I know fixes the bumg's).
It is fairly easy to fix them, I think there is a youtube video demonstrating how to do it... I have resewn elastic on some of my nappies but I'm not very neat I'm sure there are others who would be able to do it very neatly.
