Soap alternatives

I'm allergic to soap. My Dr told me to use Sorbolene instead but I can't stand it. Is there anything else I can use?

Second the Moo Goo or go without and just use water with a spongy thing.
DH has stopped using soap and just uses deodorant under his arms and it's been fine.

All the other suggestions are good, I use sebamed on ds2 mostly coz it smells a little better than most of the others. Go talk to someone at the chemist there are seriously HEAPS of soap free washes but be careful if u think ur allergic to fragrances or anything as well coz lots say they are soap free and 'good' but still have lots of other nasties, JAT

What exactly are you allergic to?

Because you can get home-made soaps from the markets that don't have half as many of the nasties that commercially made soaps do.

I'm itchy from soap too, but only the normal creamy sort. I use glycerine soap instead and never have any problems with that. Basically if the soap is transparent it seems to ok.
