Tahini with no possibility of nuts

i bought some today, got it home and on the side it says almonds and peanuts may b present, DD has an intolerance to these and although it may only be a trace (which is ok) im making this specifically for her therefore dont want any present, i bought the Mayvers brand, so was wondering anyone knows of some that definatly dont have any traces of nuts or can i make my own and has anyone has success making their own Tahini

I dont think you would find any tahini without traces of nuts as it is made from sesame seed, in the UK they class this in the same category as 'nut allergy list'

You often find these items will be produced on the same line.

Perhaps you could replace it with "nut-free butter" which is made from sunflower seeds I think.
