3 weeks ago my baby died

    Hi to all,

three weeks ago my daughter Lola died, she was stillborn at 41 weeks. Since that time I have been reading everything I can about stillborn babies and looking for others stories, I think maybe so I can see if my thoughts and feelings are normal. I have been reading on this forum. I thought maybe I would share my story with others here and hopefully get and give support to others who have been through a similar experience.

Hi Kristalee, and welcome to BB. I am so sorry about your loss, it just breaks my heart to read of others who have lost their precious babies. Lola is so beautiful, I am sure she is now watching over you and your family.
It must be so hard to come so far in your pregnancy, only to come away with empty arms. I've lost my little son Joshua at almost 21 weeks, and I can't imagine losing him at full term. I too read so many books about miscarriage, stillbirth, dealing with loss, you name it, I read it. I must say it did help me to understand why things sometimes can go so horribly wrong. It's still so unfair though, no matter how you look at it. I wish I could take your pain away hun, and heal your heart. In time it will happen, but the grieving process must happen, and when will it end? I don't know. I'm still grieving for my little one, and I don't think I will ever stop.
I wish I could reach across the screen and give you a huge hug
Take good care of yourself, and please seek help if you need it, don't take it all on board yourself, it is so much for one person. I started to see a grief councillor straight after I lost Joshua and still see her to this day. She has helped me enormously, she's helped me to understand and deal with my loss. I also attend the SANDS meetings monthly, which really help too.

    Hi Kristalee,

I too read your blog. Your writing was filled with so much passion, love and pain.

The slide-show of your beautiful Lola was so moving. She was very beautiful and her rosebud lips just perfect.

My deepest sympathies to you all...I sit here with tears pouring down my face for you. I am so so sorry for your devastating loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all..

Kristalee: Hun I am so utterly sorry that Lola couldn't stay with you and your family. I lost my first son at 36weeks so I know the unbelievable pain you are suffering. As I was reading your blog it all sounded so similar to my experience. My heart is breaking for you and your beautiful family.

Please know that you are not alone, sadly there are many of us here who have sufferred the ultimate loss. Please join us in the Miscarriage and Stillbirth forums, I have found the support of those ladies to be a life saver.

For now grieve your baby girl, let yourself feel the deeps of emotion you are going through.

Here for you if there is anything I can do.

    RIP beautiful little Lola.
