Are you willing to share your experience with a midwifery student??
Hey Ladies
I am looking for women who want to share their pregnancy and birth journey with a midwifery student.
As part of my course we are required to do 'follow through journeys' with pregnant women.
This experience would look different for every women, it could mean me attending your antenatal appointments with you, or a coffee after to talk about where you're at, yoga for pregnant women, shopping for baby essentials, or even the birth itself. This part is up to you. This is your special and unique experience, whatever part you are willing to share with me, I would be honoured, there is no pressure.
I hope this to be mutually beneficially. I would love to learn from your individual experience that will in the end undoubtably make me a better midwife . I also want to offer you support, someone to listen, and access to a wealth of knowledge that I have available to me through my professional mentor and my university lecturers.
A little bit about me, I am 26, as well as studying midwifery I make and sell handmade journals to support myself through uni. I have spent time travelling, and worked in a few different orphanages in South Africa. That is where I would like to take my midwifery skills eventually.
I would love to hear from you, if you have any more questions. It may be more private to contact me on hollie.chamberlain@gmail.com
For those of you I don't hear from, good luck with your precious bundles, enjoy every minute of these 9 months and beyond!!
