    hey girls still here!
all good here except for a little thing called sleep
Boof has had 2 x 15 mins sleep all day. He is sleeping OK at nite when he eventually gets to sleep around 11ish - ho hum
mind you when he is awake, he is fine and happy- just awake ALL day now

boof is teething BAD!!! at the moment- we are calling him our spitasarus! Just fists and spit!LOL
i remember with my twins that when something like teeth, or a milestone was about to happen, then sleeping would go to the crappa- so tipping that is whats happening

OP-Glad you are gonna get some assistance. Have you thought of ringing and speaking to Liz at Northpark in the interim- she might be a good resource to call on!!! Mwah hun and see you tommorow!

Ali- how spesh do i feel now we are facebook friends- ashlyn is such a cutie!

Nai - it was soo good to catch up with you at the meet up! I am gonna drag OP by her hair next time LOL- its ace how easy it is to talk to you, even though only met you IRL twice!

Kaz- yah on weight gain- WHOOT on trusting your instincts!!!!!

    grrrr Boof is AWAKE AGAIN!!!!!
so much for an early nite for him
mwah and see you on the flip side

Rainbow Raver - I just checked my list and it's actually 4 books I can't find. Damn baby brain! They are Mr. Jelly, Mr. Fussy, Mr. Worry and Mr. Wrong. They'll turn up eventually - I'll just have to keep checking amazon.

    Evening ladies

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I really do love this place.

Well my lovely DD is asleep and has been since about 7.30pm, with minimal settling from me and DH. At least we are not holding her and didn't have to rock her to sleep.

Darn spoke too soon... she is awake.

Well Isabel woke, fed, grizzled a bit and is back to sleep. I'm not surprised she woke - her last feed was 5.30pm, she was not interested in feeding at all after her bath, so it had been over four hours since she fed. Ah well. We'll see how long she sleeps for now...

Kaz - my MIL has been hitting the Aussie Post shops too - how good are those packs?? I can't believe you have almost an entire collection of Mr Men books!

Det, thanks hun, I'm going to give Liz a call tomorrow, good idea. Can't believe your boofa boy, he is going ahead in leaps and bounds! No teeth over here yet...

Tarkine - I've got an ergo, she does sleep in that. So cute, today we went to Woolies for groceries and she was in it about 2 minutes, looking around then I felt this gentle THUNK as her head hit my chest, sound asleep. Can't use it with a sleeping bag though... maybe I'll look into a HAB or something.

AJP - what did wonder weeks have to say???

Well last night she wasn't too bad - woke a few times but DH and I decided to try and resettle if it was less than 3ish hours since a feed, I think her short fussy feeds are because I've been feeding her when she's not really hungry, so she's only have a snacky feed.

Sort of worked - she went about 4.5hrs between feeds then another 3.5. So I told DH we'll try that again tonight, luckily he's got a cruisey week this week (he's wiring my parent's house extension, they understand if he's not there early in the morning LOL) and can help out overnight and in the mornings.

See how we go tonight. I called a sleep school today and I'm waiting for the "triage" nurse to call me back. Fingers crossed we don't need it...

Thanks again ladies for all the wonderful support.

Det- eww paperwork you poor thing! Yay for FB friends. I stalked you through Shell and then I got stalked back by OP Love all this stalking Your kids are gorgeous. Cant believe how much Levi is growing! He is such a spunk!
OP- Do you find DD is only unsettled when she is out of her own bed/home? Glad things are getting better. Yay for being FB friends as well.
Kaz- Do you have a fav Mr Men character?

Girls, this hair thing is a real issue I am having. I just ran my finger through my hair once and had about 6 hairs all caught in my hand. My clothes seem to be covered in it. I am constantly picking them off DD as well. When will it stop falling out so much?

Also anyone else on FB that wants to be my friend Pm me and I'll give you my details or you can give me yours

DD has not been sleeping very well the last couple of nights. We are good up until 12 she feeds then wakes at around 2:30 4-4:30, 6:30 8:00. I am not so much tired in the evening it is just the mornings that I hate getting out of bed as I still feel so tired. GOing to MCHN tomorrow for a weigh in for DD.

Kaz, will keep my eye out for those books and let you know if i see them.

OP - I hope things settle down soon. I find Juliette is more unsettled if she isn't at home for her bed routine.

    Det - boooo for paperwork!

Ali - my hair is falling out too. It lasted a couple of months last time from memory It's all over my bathroom floor at the moment.

AFM - slowly going crazy - Day 3 of Swine Flu isolation but hopefully we find out today if DD1 actually does have it. She woke up this morning with no temp so it seems like she is on the mend.

Nai- Hopefully you'll get the news you can leave the home prison! Stuck at home with 2 kids would drive me bit bonkers.

Ali- I had about my hair in my status update on FB other day! Yep its coming out in huge amounts. I remember after having Ash I seriously thought I was gonna go bald at the amount that came out. I could rub my hand across the carpet and pull up a clump off the floor.

OP- I try do same thing, not feed overnight if under 3 hours cause she will only snack then. Hope the sleep school can give some good over the phone advice.

Det- How did boof sleep after that? I don't know how you concentrate on paperwork at that time of night!

We've had bad nights lately, last night was the worst, she wakes constantly and very hard to settle, I feel like crap. She always starts ok, sleep at 7, wakes at 10 for feed then she'll be awake at like 12:30 manage to settle her then feed at 2 then after that she won't sleep longer than 90mins at a time. Was quite unsettled yesterday too god knows what prob is.

On a brighter note after having no milk last week last night for some reason they were so full they hurt! I been giving the 10pm feed as formula but been doing that for few weeks now but some reason they filled up big time last night. Maybe big pack Toobs I ate after dinner last night, lol.

Shell - LOL at toobs increasing your supply!! That really sucks that Em has been so bad at sleeping at night time. I don't know how you get through the days with a toddler after nights like that. You prolly don't know how you do it either! I've been told by friends with older kids that the babies who don't sleep well in the first 3-6 months become champion sleepers after that and never wake them again. At least that was their experience. I hope Ems sleep settles soon for you hun.
Nai - I hope your house is swine free and you can get out and about again. What a PITA.
Ali - Ash doesn't sound much better than Em atm. I know exactly how you feel about getting up in the mornings
Det - Bah to paperwork! Go to bed girl
OP - I'm really glad you guys had a better night last night. I have wondered the same thing with Jacob - whether I'm feeding him too often in the evenings/night because we've passed 2 hours since the last feed. Some of his feeds are so short and fussy. I might try to stretch him out too.

OK, I have to catch up!

Rainforest- DD isn't a good day sleeper She will only go to sleep in the HAB!! Then I have to bounce on the fitball and I can keep her asleep for up to 2 hrs. If I get her to sleep in my arms and put her in her basinette she either wakes as soon as I put her down or only sleeps for 45mins. It is driving me crazy!! At night she will sleep for 4hrs, then another 3, then is usually up every 1-2hrs. I hope she grows out of this soon!!
OP- DD was doing the same thing, waking too much for feeds during the night so 2 nights ago DH just resettled her instead, and then last night she didn't do it. Only took one night, lol. But was probably a fluke. I'm going to attempt a dreamfeed tonight and see if it makes any difference.
Nai- I hope it's not swine flu!!
shell- maybe a growth spurt with the bad sleep? That's what happened here, it was horrible.

    Hmm....I can't remember what else.

Oh, I always see lots of ppl on FB from BB I want to be friends with but I'm too scared, lol. I want to be anonymous on here and I'm scared someone would write something on my wall or something and then my friends would see and come spy on me in here, haha.

AFM- I am over my cold today, yay! And DD hasn't got it, double yay!! So relieved. I was not coping with her while feeling so sick! Thank God that's over.

everyone else, sorry, baby brain, I can't remember what else was said.

Oh Nai that truly sucks balls. I hope the rest of you don't come down with it. What will you do to stay sane? Indian take out and beer will only go so far.....

Ali - forgot to say earlier, I can never decide on a fave Mr. Men character! I read Mr. Messy to Jacob yesterday - seemed fitting given the state of the house! I want a Mr. Neat and a Mr. Tidy to come stay here for a while

    Heaven - Hi darl!

Nai- Oh no!! that sucks. Hope you can stop the rest of you from getting it. I thought for sure DD would get my cold but she didn't!

Kaz- Hi!! DH is obsessed with kids books, he's got a good collection going. The other night he was reading DD the velveteen rabbit, it was so cute. She loves stories, goes all still and looks at the pictures.
