Poor Jett has a red bum today. Nothing too major, but red enough to warrant some sort of treatment. I sent him to Childcare with Moogoo (for the first time) only to be told that they can't use it because it contains almond oil and they have a total nut free policy. It is especially a concern as one of the other babies in the room has severe allergies. So now I don't know what to use because that is what I have always used. Anyone else got any ideas for NR treatment suitable for cloth?
I can't believe they said that to you - my childcare is nut free as well, but more than happily use my moogoo. They lock it in a cupboard under the changing area.
Yeah I thought so too, but I guess it is their policy and if the child with severe allergies wasn't in his room they may not have been as concerned. Sux though!
Yeah I thought bepanthen and I have some at home, but thought it was fine only in emergencies?
we use (yellow jar) paw paw.
HInt: the red jar contains petroleum which repels moisture- dont put directly on bums against mcns as it will reduce their absorbancy
