I think that's the right amount. My DD was having about the same in FF at that age. My DS is 9 1/2 mths and is having 6-8 BF's a day. Obviously I can't tell the amount he's drinking but the frequency is usually 6 is feeds a day/night, plus breakfast lunch and dinner (solids) and sometimes one or two small snacks. Milk (formula or BM ) should still be his main source of nutrition until 12 mths.

I would drop one, or combine two - maybe put the 12md and 4pm one together at 2:30ish. Or, you could just drop the 4pm one and make the 12md one a bit later. Then that middle of the day bottle is the one that you gradually reduce until you cut it out - which could be any time you feel like he's ready.

    Good luck!

PP - there isn't much age difference between our two - Miss M has 4 bottles at day too - one at 7am, 1.30pm, 6.30pm and 10.00pm. Sometimes they are a little earlier, sometimes a little later, but usually around that time.

It sounds fine to me. I wouldn't cut any out at all at this stage at all. He still needs his formula until 12 mths.
