DS#1 has a speech problem which we are rectifying by seeing a speech pathologist!
We are concentrating on minimal contrast definitions as he mixes up some letters at the moment! He also drops the first letter of some words too!
I was wondering if anyone had any books/worksheets/sources of where I could get some more work sheets to keep going with as well as to let his childcare center know so they could use it on all the kids to help them prepare for school and kinder!
My DD's speechie gives us sheets for her to work on at home and she has two scrapbooks full of 'homework' to do. Some of them I cut up and make a memory matching game out of (we get two sheets the same) and others she just likes to colour in. Other things I have done is download some clip art of fish, cut them out, print out some of the words or sounds she is focussing on and glue to the back of the fish and then I laminated them, cut them out, popped on a paper clip and made a fishing rod and she 'catches' the fish and has to say the words/sounds etc. I don't know where you find resources like that to buy, but for my DD is has always been best to continue at home what she does in her therapy sessions so it doesn't seem overwhelming for her. But our Speechie gives us loads of stuff to work on, and there is the fish game that I made up for her etc to compliment what we do at therapy.
