    booking in appointment

    hi everyone

I hope you are all feeling well and m/s free this morning!

I am 10 weeks and 2 days and have my first booking in appointment at the royal womens hospital in melbourne tomorrow morning. I have had 4 scans already to confirm everything is ok as I had a missed m/c last Nov after 2 years ttc.

Through my GP I have already arranged my 12 week and NT scan for next Friday and I am going for my NT blood test this afternoon.

Can anyone tell me what happens at your first booking in appt at the royal women's?

Cannot tell you a thing, but congratulations on your pregnancy.
Sounds like you have a really caring GP
If you have questions make sure you write them down so you remember to ask while there.
There's a lot to take in on your first visit. Is your DH able to go with you?

Thank you Rivlas, actually my GP is terrible! It was the specialist at Melbourne IVF, with whom we were about to start fertility treatment who did the first four scans and then gave me the referal for my NT scan. I am trying to decide whether to do shared care at our GPs given that they are further away from me than the hospital is and I don't really have any relationship with them.

DH can't make it as he will be away on business but ok going on my own, just don't know what to expect. Good advice to write down questions beforehand.
