Is Pimples on Babies Normal??

Hi,
I have a 9 week old darling girl and she is starting to get more & more pimples on her face everyday. What does this mean? Is this normal or should i be worried?

If they are what I think then they are milk spots and perfectly normal.. If you need more reassurance pop into your chemist and they can tell you and if it is something else they will let you know if it can be treated with a cream or to see a Dr..

My kids all had them.. sometimes they had heaps

No need to worry! It's just a hormonal thing and will go away.

as above, it would prob only be milk spots....lots of bubs get them. DS got heaps around the 5wk mark......nothing to worry about.

Yep, I agree with the other girls - sounds like 'milk spots', my 7 wo is just getting rid of them now. Our MW told me its just bubs skin adjusting to the outside world - they look like teenage acne sufferers, they usually go away by themselves

Thanks everyone, its a bit of relief. My partner was worried that she would have really bad acne through life, even though we both never had them growing up. If it gets any worse i'll see a Doc. Much appreciated for the advice.
