Why aren't my inserts soft anymore?

I just got a heap of new nappies yesterday. They're all washed and drying now. But I noticed with the new ones the bamboo inserts are all soft and fluffy!! And the one's I've had for a couple of weeks aren't soft anymore Is this normal, are they meant to go like that? Wish they would stay soft!!

I had this happen too. I just put the inserts in the dryer to soften them up a bit. I find that I need to do this every now and then

yep, sadly the fluff settles the more they are washed , shame isn't it? I find even the microfibre inserts get a bit hard after time too.
My BBH are almost smooth, that's how much they have settled.

Oh so it's normal. How sad But doesn't mean they're any less absorbent?

Scrunch them up as you take them off the line. That can help. Or come visit me and chuck them in my dryer
