doctors who circumcise in western sydney

hi, im new to this so hopefully im not breaking any rules. but im looking for doctirs in western sydney that do circumcisions. i was told when my son was a new born that they wouldnt do it until he was over 12 months old and now he is my GP is reluctant to refer me to someone who will perform it. my partner and i want to find someone who can do it and who will answer all of our questions before we go ahead with it.
so if anyone knows of any doctors around who do it, could you please let me know. i live around the penrith area.

I might be able to get the number of a Dr in Wallacia (I think that's where he is!) who does it off a friend - not sure if he will do a baby over 12 months but I'm sure he'd at least meet with you and discuss your options. They were very happy with the experience they had with him.

I think there is a dr out of westmead hospital who does them too... But I am not 100% sure... Dr Joseph Macdessi. He also has rooms in Burwood. He is a great pead. But as I say I am not sure he does the circs, but would be worth a call...

he is based at st george private. he is great

oh and forgot to mention we had to get our referal form a peadiatrician not our GP
so we had to see GP get ref for Pead then see pead then ref for surgeon. was the easiest way.

Well there you go, he did my ds too, but I thought he only did it up to six weeks (although we went to his surgery, not the hospital). I agree, he is fantastic and I'd highly recommend him

he will do older boys eh ahs a 2 yo and a 4 yo in teh day surgery teh day we went..

he is such a nice dr great bedside manner and actually takes his time never felt rushed or fobbed off.

I hope you have already found a dr but if you haven't there is an excellent dr in Punchbowl. He performed the procedure on my son at 7 weeks old. he is higly recommended and is always booked out. Alot of people travel to see him.

This information is not correct. This doctor does NOT preform circumcision, you would need a surgeon, not a paediatrician!

Dr anthony dilley did my son as well. He had his op at 6 months old but that is because of a conditioon that was also treated by Dr Dilley. He was great. He is at Gymea. And st george hospital, Kogarah
