I don't know if anyone else has had this, but my belly is constantly hard - as in hard like a basket ball. I can even feel on the sides it curving around my bubs into my abdomen. I had felt this before when I was getting BH's which only lasted a little while but now, for the last week or so it has been like it constantly. Bubs is still moving, just, just little movements and wriggles.
Has anyone else had this? Is it normal? Does it mean my uterus is getting ready for labour or is it just having a spaz attack?
Does it just feel hard? or does it feel like a constant tightening like a BH? If it feels like constant tightening, I'd probably ring the midwives and ask them, but otherwise I wouldn't worry.
I'm trying to think back to what my belly was like... LOL.. I think it felt pretty hard, and when I got BH's it morphed into wierd shapes hehe. And I remember with DD thinking there's no way my belly could get any bigger, it just felt so hard and stretched to its limit.
My DH put a basketball up his shirt the other day and hugged me with it there. I asked, "What the heck are you doing??" He says, "This is what it feels like to hug you!"
Lol Evie. The way bub is sitting, and has been all pregnancy, it really looks like I just have a basketball stuffed under my shirt...lol. DF has also commented on how far away he has to stand from me to give me a hug!
