Faith, Hope, or any of the Puritan names.
Our daughter was born on 23/12 and we named her Gabriella after the archangel Gabriel who announced the birth of Jesus. The male version is Gabriel.
Coincedentaly our latest daughters name is also christmassy - we liked it so much from when we were pregnant with DD1 that it just stuck with us - Natalya which is a version of Natalie/Natalia which is Latin for Christmas Day.
If you are really desperate the name Joshua can be traced back to be a derivitave (sp?) of Jesus and therefore a christmas name too.![]()
Thank you all so much - I will present the list to DH and see if we can finally decide on a name.
Tess.
I met a man called Jesus at work the other day.
I like Holly, Natalia, Joy, Mary for girls and Joseph, Nicholas, and Gabriel for boys.
Natalia could be shortened to Talia. I seem to recall that Mel from Sunrise called her daughter that because she was born in December sometime.
Merri / Merry
Chrissy
Jesus!!!
Old fave joke, can't even remember where I learnt it now:
What's more amazing than a virgin birth?
Three wise men!
