Freezer labels for homemade baby food

I want to be an organised mum, and store all my homemade babyfood in freezer containers. So far i have made the ice block puree food, now want to place the cubes in larger containers in freezer and label " Carrot", "Sweet potato" etc .I have the containers but need the freezer labels.

Does anyone know of where I could locate good freezer labels that wont come off or deteriorate in the freezer and washing process?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

can you get hold of one of those dymo label thingies (yeh I know really technical terms here) - I have one that I use to label containers that go to work (from being in the freezer) and they cope with the dishwasher at work.

I used masking tape that I wrote on with permanent texta.

Instead of using containers, I used the snap lock bags and wrote on the outside.. It takes up less room in freezer as well..
