    Baby leg warmers

Are there other brands other than Baby Legs and Huggalugs?
I want some but at $16.50 each I can't see me getting many. I could probably buy her a whole outfit for that pmsl. Is it just the brand name that makes them that expensive? Or not?
Was just thinking if there's a cheaper less well known brand than I would rather get them, coz then I can get more!! lol. Am I dreaming?

I buy the bonds leggings - although they have the full bum in them - they are about $7 each and we love them here

Yeah, I've got some of them Dee. Was thinking babylegs would be good for extra warmth and easy nappy changes.

i have bonds ones baby legs and hugga lugs , my dd is a shortie and i only use the bonds ones , the rest are too big on her and she has slim ankles and a turned in foot so they usually slip off anyway , so the bonds get a flogging , but they are starting to get a bit dull

    Heaven,
I havent found any cheaper... BUT you can use them for years and years as leg warmers.
MJ has had hers since birth and is no where close to growing out of them... Yes you could buy and outfit, but it will only last 3-6mths, so you have to buy more, more often

Check out some of the girls stores on here and wait for a sale, when Mel has a sale i buy a couple of pairs, cheaper that way

Quite a few WAHM make their own but the names elude me at the moment - will have a scout around for you. Pumpkin patch sell some for about $10 and you could get away with buying the smallest size from Big W in the big kids section depend on how big bub is.

I think the benefit of babylegs/huggalugs is that they are specifically made for babies and kids - nice and soft and the elastic is gentle so it doesn't leave any marks or get too tight. Maybe wait for some specials??

Ebay have cheapy ones Otherwise you can do what I did - buy a pair of ladies knee high socks & chop the feet off!! The bit where you chop will roll a little but it still looks ok.

Some random info ..... my DD has 2 of her own pairs - yes she is a small 4yo - but she loves them for leg warmers - and even wears them to bed with a nightie instead of pj's (she is a girly girl ) This is just to demonstrate the longevity of them.

Zander has about 6 pairs, which I anticipate getting heaps of use out of even as he grows and gets older.
