I don't usually post about names but I'm getting desperate!
We do not know if Boo is a pink or blue bundle. We have two girls names picked that we are happy with but are really struggling with boys names!!
Looking for some suggestions...our 'criteria' would be not too popular (so no Coopers, Rileys, Jacks etc) and not too modern either (like Jett or Diesel or anything like that - wouldn't go with our other children's names).
We'd like something strong, more traditional but not too boring.
Trish - Yep, DH is well convinced on that one, it's me that's not!! I tend to be indecisive till the birth anyway. Would just like a few options iykwim? (thanks for not posting the name ) I actually love Kieran...I can't remember if I ended up suggesting it to DH or not
Nate is cool but our friends have a Nathaniel who they call Nate so that's out - we are all very close and our families spend lots of time together.
Love Thomas too but it's my Dad's name and DH wouldn't let me use it for a first name so it's DS's middle name.
Thanks for the suggestions, nothing grabbing me so far but keep them coming please!
Willow ... we were the same had a girl's name picked out (well had for many years, LOL) ... and had NO boy's name right up until i went into labour 2 days past me due date Infact the night before i went into labour after months of looking at name books, websites, relatives name, etc ... we were back on the net for names til midnight & i said to DP "I'm off to bed if this a boy he will have no name for sometime like my younger sister did" ... Um, gave birth to a girl that next morning, she saved us a huge headache
You can have my fav boy's names (that DP wasn't keen on 'em)
Kyran
Kynan
Keenen
Kieran (yes, i'm a sucker for "K" names)
Bryce
Anton
Leo
Joel
... and i don't mind Jon, Nat, Logan & Lucas
Overnight I think I've settled on our #1 choice again (had another little 'sign' ), but it's great to have a few others on the list just in case. I was adamant DS would be named Levi until he was born and it just wasn't right, so the thought of only having one name makes me a little nervous!
I just adore old man names, but DH wants something a little edgier. He has however agreed that we can use old mans names for middle names whether its a boy or a girl, so all my kids will have old man middle names!
My faves are Henry, Arthur, George and Montgomery.
If the little one inside me is a boy, it will have the middle name Arthur, and if it is a girl it will have the middle name Montgomery. DH says Montgomery reminds him of The Simpsons, but I think it sounds lovely and its so nice to say.. Arthur is my grandfathers name too so I think thats nice.
if Kiahla was a boy, she was going to be Joseph Cooper ..
My sister's bubba was just named Bailey William ..
the other names we were tossing up (we being me and my mummy) were ..
William
Charles
Bryce
Chad
Benjamin
Lucas
Kane
Max
Isaac
Connor
Liam
Caylen
hope these give you something to play around with ! i struggled forever with boys names 2, but i had a feeling all along i was having a girl, i didnt find out! everyone else thought it was a boy LOL
