    steelcraft eden or acclaim?

    Morning all.
We had picked out a pram that we liked. It was the discovery one from Target, but we also like the steelcraft eden, but the Target one was a little more in our price range. Well my sweet nan and pop rang the other night to say they want to buy the pram for the baby and they want us to get a really good one and they want to send us $400 and to get the best we can for that amount. We are rapt, but now confused cause there are more choices for us.
We had looked at the steelcraft eden while on holidays and loved it, but I've since seen the acclaim also, and they look similar. All the features are the same, they weight the same, fold up dimensions are the same. So what's the difference? any opinions on whuch one is better then the other or any other suggestions on a pram thats $400 or less?
Thank you everyone and have a great day.
PS. We love my nan and pop

    Post johnson facts

My Partner and I went out Pram Shopping yesterday and the only pram that had everything we wanted was the Steelcraft Acclaim/Eden etc. But I cant find any reviews or anything on it! Im just hoping the price isnt an indication.
I always thought that the Steelcraft was one of the so called 'cheaper' brands but if there is nothing else out there to fit everything that we want (four swival wheels, reverse handle) we are just going to have to go with that one! it would be nice to see some reviews about it though.
What was the cheapest price you have seen it for? but likewise my grandparents have said that they will pay!
Let me know how you go!

    Hi Beth,
The cheapest I've seen the eden for was $349 and that was at baby world (Toyworld) and they have it on babyzone direct for $258 then that but then you add postage, so it works out about the same. It's confusing.
I think we've decided on getting the one at Target cause I've managed to find some good reviews on it and nothing on any of the others like you said, and then we can buy something else with nan and pops money.
    arrrrggggg too many choices.

I just bought the Steelcraft Eden and although bubs isn't here yet i've set it up and have been playing with it already and I LOVE it. It's easy to manouvre, has heaps of storage space, wheels lock easily and it's very easy to collapse and set up. I love the idea of the reversable handle and it looks very comfy for bub.

    Steelcraft

I think it looks great.. and even better for the price! i could believe some of the prices on them! gosh! WEll thanks heaps for that. Im sure that we will end up going for it. The only thing that i was a bit iffy about was that i kicked the wheels a couple of times whilst walking around the shop with it. but i think thats something i will get used to!

what was the one at Target? We will have to go and have a look at all those stores now. yesterday was just a start and they were just all the baby's galore, baby kingdom and My Baby Warehouse.

the one at target is the discovery, and looks very similar to eden, just not sure if it has all the same features or not. It looks as though it does from what I've seen and read.

The acclaim, enigma, elite, are all the same model, just different years/colours...so im assuming eden is the same thing. i have an enigma which is tan and 2 yrs old, the acclaim is the newer one exactly the same just in black HTH

I thought that they were all the same. So do you have any problems with yours at all?

nope, only thing thats annoying is that when baby is little and is in recline mode u cant put anything in the basket underneath, once theyre sitting up its ok though. apart from that i love it, its so easy to manouver and folds up super easy
