Wool Cover over Itti Bitti for Overnight use?

I am curious to give this a shot and see if my IB will last overnight with a boost and Wool Cover, any suggestions for what to buy?

You could try a knitted wool soaker, shorties or longies, I'm sure the girls will know where to get something decently priced. Otherwise we have a few Baby BeeHinds wool covers, my experience has been to get a size up, but I'm not sure if others have found that necessary. xo

Not sure I'd bother for over an Itti Bitti, but the longies were boosted for when we used fitteds underneath. Many don't bother lanolising the Baby BeeHinds ones, they seem to go alright without.

you do realise that an IB has PUL in it dont you? So techniqually it shouldn't leak.

FWIW - Vy wore one overnight for ages...no even with extra boosting BUT it was sopping wet in the morning and her ja ja was red raw (that was with her longies on too) so we've gone back to wearing IB boo's with her longies

yes I wouldn't reccomend it personally, they aren't made to last a night and will be soaked by morning This isn't good for bubs bottom.

Cool, thanks for your input Maz and Missy, we have had a few leakages the last few days during the day, but that was only when I forgot to boost or change the nappye earlier than I should have But no signs of any nappy rash etc.

But it made the minky and her clothes saturated.

It just got me thinking as to whether you could use a wool cover over the top at night, but I don't want to cause nappy rash, ad she hasn't had any since she was born, only a couple of little red patches every now and then (maybe 2-3 times since we left hospital).

I will just stick with the dippie overnight it out until I get a propper night nappy

Yeap, except for when DD does such a huge pee that it cannot hold anymore, and mummy hasn't realised

hehehehe They have leaked here once too when I did the same thing.

Do you have any babybeehinds bamboo or hemp fitteds? These are awesome and we use them at night when we were out of NN.
