    Question Plane travel after c-section??

Does anyone know how long after a c-section you would have to wait before travelling on a plane?

Hmmm, I'm not sure if airlines impose travel restrictions after major surgery? You might need a drs cert. so I'd ask your midwife or dr. If not, I'd probably say give it a week, maybe two, to handle the travel, but that was just my experience of a c/s. The car ride home was fairly painful, but it got easier after a week or two.

    hi....
yes airlines do have restrictions on travel after surgery.....
its usually between days and a few weeks
your best bet is to contact the airline u are flying with and ask them...
u will probably need a letter from ur doc too.....HTH
