group certificate
i thought i needed to wait for my group certificate from centerlink for family tax payments that i have had over the year before i can do mine and myDH's tax returns. however, a friend of mine just did her partners tax and they didnt wait to get a group certificate from centerlink. i am sure i needed it last year but i cant remember. so do i need to wait for one, and do i even get one?

there is not payment summary from c'link if you only received family tax benefit. it is based on your taxable income so isn't finalised for the year until AFTER your taxable income information is received - it's not a taxable payment
go ahead and do your tax if the only payment you received is FTB

cool, thanks. yep only got ftb a and ftb b and baby bonus this year. i could have sworn i got a group certificate last year though and used it in the tax return.. wierd.
