    scared!

ok well this may seem silly but im 35 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and really worried that shes gonna be huge! my first 1 was 10 days late and he was 9 lb and my second i was induced 8 days early and he was 9lb 7oz, anyway i am seeing a new doc as my other moved away and i dont think he will induce me early and im worried that this one will be alot bigger! but my other dilemma is i want to go naturally! my question is being my third is she most likely going to be bigger then my last?

Don't worry about it too much honey.
If bub is too big docs will usually want to give you a CS. But just remember if you don't want a CS, my great grandmother gave birth to a 13.7Pound baby with no tearing! (yeah i know, wonderwoman eh) And he was her first. Her next four kids were big as well, with the last one being a healthy 9.9pounder.
My little boy is coming out on 30th of July via CS, he's projected to be around the 10-12Pound mark.
But the docs gave me a choice, i could either be indiced at 35 weeks and go naturally, or leave him to bake a bit longer and have him out at 39+1 via CS.

If your freaking out, talk to your doc or midwife about it and figure out what YOU want to do. If you tell them your scared, they'll try to help you relax a little.
    Good Luck!!!

Kittykat I was worried with my third too...my first was 8lb10, my second 9lb13.
Even though the second birth was much better & easier I was worried about how big bub no.3 would be ...he was 8lb13, so much smaller than DS1.
It is very unusual for a woman to bake a baby too big to birth...there is a thread i think on here about it, I'll have a look & see if I can find a link for you.

don't worry hun you'll be fine.

    Think you are too small?

Check this out - it's not quite what you are worried about but close, along the same lines. Our bodies really are amazing
