geelong kindergarten?need advise

i am new to geelong,my baby will born Sep 12th, yesterday i called GkA to ask about here's kinder(because i've heard kinder always need long waiting),but GKA told me that they just accept 2years old children.so i realize maybe i should go to kinder to put name on their list.i dont know, any geelong parents here could give some advise?
and also i've heard entre kinder's age been cut by April 30th.so then my baby is Sept.is that mean my baby need to enrol with GKA when she almost turn 2years.then will she go to kinder following year,then will be 2 and half.is not 3, that confuse me ,if anyone could help me out,i will appreciate.thanks

Hi Claudia, I never had any problems enrolling my kids into kinda and I enrolled them the year before thet started. It could depend on the kinda though. If you want your little one to go to 3yr old kinda they would go the year after they turn 3 so would be 3 when starting. Hope this is of some help.
