    close carrier

    hi all,

ok, after some negative reviews on bubba moe sling, im now leaning towards the close carrier. however until i read about it in this forum i'd never even heard of it, so i would appreciate any info you can share.

i am only interested in something to carry bub around for the first 4 mnths or so especially newborn. ive looked into the hug a bub before, but it looks too complicated and fussy for me, i want something easy and also it will be summer, so it has to be cool to wear for both me and bub.

whereabouts do you buy the close carrier from?

    thanks for all your help!

I got mine from Mel too (Clothie Bumz, Modern Cloth Nappies) and it is absolutely fantabulous. I can't live without it.

PS Mods am I allowed to link to MPM sites? Hope so .

    Its more a weight limit.
Harmony is almost 8 kg, and is still inwards facing, and I can still carry her for, literally, hours!! I have yet to turn her outwards, so think ill get ages out of it yet

But I know some who wont carry thier 10kg bubbas.

I guess its a personal thing, and also how big you are, to be carrying a bigger bubba. I'm tallish, and size 12, so ill get heaps of use compared to a little lady carrying a huge baby around!!!

My sister used mine for a couple of weeks and loved it! She said it was soooo comfy for her NB
