    Question 1 month late for 4mth vac's

DS has been really sick on and off for a month with 2 bouts of croup and now broncialitis....

Everytime we try and take him to get his Vacc's he comes down with something and gets a temp.

He is now a month late for his 4 month vacc's....

What happens now - will they still give them to him?

He is still sick but doens't have a temp - should I take him tomorrow?

I would take him to the doctors anyway and see what the doctor says.

yep they will still give it to him. My friends lil girl is 20 months and had all hers done in the past 6 months.. like.. ALL of them. Just ring and ask them about his sickness. They will tell u whether he is well enough to have them or not. saves going all the way down there.

They will still give it, it's just delayed.

I would wait until he was much better before going ahead - but that's just moi

I really don't want him to have it while he's still ill....good to know that they will still give it to him....was really worried about it as when I took him to the doc for his bronchiallitis he nurse gave me a massive lecture

definetely don't take him for vaccinations whikle he is till sick! It's better to have delayed vaccines then give it to him while he is still sick and it goes wrong- is just my educated opinion.

dee- when i got jimmy done the dr gave him a full check-over first- checking his temp, chest etc. before he went ahead and gave him the vac.

When the girls were small my Dr told me to wait until they were really better before continuing.
It won't hurt them to have them late.

Yeah, My Dr wont give it if bub has a temp. I rekon hold off till he gets better.

I was late with DS due to a never ending cold, and got a letter form centerlink after a month, but called and they said I had a month it get it done. Lucky DS managed to kick his cold long enough in that time to fit one in...
