Exclamation Reaction to Chicken Pox immunisation

Has anyone elses toddler had a reaction to the chicken pox immunisation?

DD had hers on Saturday and today it looks like she has a heat rash in 5 or so spots over her chest and abdominals. She's still eating, drinking and being her (otherwise) normal self.

We took her to the Dr who said it was just a viral reaction to the immunisation which shouldn't last too long...

So if your toddler did have a similar reaction how long did it last for?

(I'm silently praying that this won't affect the pending birth of bubs - I'm 38 wks, and really don't want DD to be excluded from the hospital to meet her little brother)...

My kids never had a reaction, but getting a rash is normal as it is a live vaccine and the rash is just a sign that their bodies are reacting to the vaccine and making antibodies - which is a good thing. It shouldn't affect the birth of bubs - it is only a mild thing, not full blown chicken pox and it is very likely not contagious and it will probably be gone by then anyway.
