Positive Urine at Doctors, negative blood test

    Hi Guys

I am so worried and stressed right now. I found out at doctors on friday that i was pregnant. I was so excited I was crying and took the test home with me to show my DH. I had has some pink discharge all week and very light bleeding but dr said this is normal and ok. Well Sat morning at 3 am I ended up in emergency with cramping and slightly heavier bleeding that then went on later in the day to be really heavy for about 24 hours. Well blood results came back with HCG levels only being 2 so the dr said i'm not pregnant. I have been emotional wreck for last few days and yesterday started feeling abnormally tired again, then today began throwing up after breakfast and periodically throughout the day. My nipples are burning and I am frequently running to the toilet. I took at HPT before today which had a faint pink line on it. I went to the dr last this afternoon and she said i could still be preg, and ordered more blood tests. She said she has had many patients with positive urine tests but negative blood. Has anyone else experience this. I get the new blood results tomorrow night at 6... So will not sleep tonight.

    Thanks guys

It has been horrible, I went to the doctor last night who has said it is possible I am still pregnant. She has seen many women that have had neg blood but positive urine. My body still has Pregnancy symptoms and I have started the day needing to vomit, so they are still strong. lol

    We are all praying hard.

That happened to me!!! I was indeed pregnant. I can't really talk about the details on here though.

A Dr told me that a 2nd blood test would show the level double. Hope it does for you.

I didn't have a 2nd blood test, I just accepted I wasnt pregnant when they told me the results of the BT. I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms so assumed I wasn't. At 27 weeks I discovered I was in fact pregnant. VERY pregnant.

    OH wow

That must have been a huge shock. I was coming to terms with it too. I have had several miscarriages or chemical pregnancies the doctors call it. So i just accepted that this was another one. But then yesterday all my preg symptoms came back. So off to see my OB now and find out what the hell is going on.

Well I just got home from the obstetricians, I'm no longer pregnant. He did an internal exam. He is sure it was a very early miscarriage. Good news is all my blood test results from a month ago are all normal so he has said to keep on trying.

I'm feeling emotionally wrecked. Thanks guys for all your encouragement.

    Thankyou

I just am so angry and frustrated. I wanted this one to stick so badly. We have lost 9 now. And the doctors just tell me there is absolutely nothing wrong with me and to keep trying. I don't know if I can anymore. I just feel lost.

Mrs Hendo, Im so sorry to read you have had to endour the pain of loosing 9 angels, that is so much for a woman to go through. I am sending the biggest cyber hugs to you.

Are you sure the doctors have tested you for everything, there is a great thread on BB that can give you an idea of the tests you should be asking for, in case they have missed some.

Would you like me to post a link, so when your ready you can read it ?
