My DD has quite curly hair which has a tendency to get frizzy..
She is now at the age (2.5yo) where she tells me how she wants her hair and it is allways "down with no clips" so I cant scrape it back into a ponytail which I have been doing (especially on humid days).
I have been using detangling spray but it doesn't seem to be controlling the frizz anymore..
Does anyone have any suggestions for products or any other solutions?
Have you tried a different shampoo/conditioner? My DD has curly hair that has a mind of its own & I've just started using the woolworth select kids shampoo/conditioner on her, & her hair has calmed down alot.
MooGoo Conditioner!! It is fabulous on my own curly hair and DS's hair has a curling tendency (ummm...matting tendency!) and running MooGoo conditioner through it settles it right down. It's also safe enough to leave a bit on without causing scalp irritation. Google the website to see what a few of us here on BB rave about in this range
I was speaking to a woman who's little girl had frizzy hair and she said that she filled a water spray bottle with water and conditioner and sprayed it on to control frizz - kind of like a leave in conditioner I suppose.
My DD is nearly 4 and always had curly frizzy hair, when we have down days I spray it with water to tame it then pull up a tiny bit at the front in a tiny band to keep it out of her eyes, then I rub a little bit of sorbolene in my palms and rub it through her hair, only a really tiny amount as if I have hand cream on, this just take the frizz out without putting the product in.
I'm off to google the moogoo conditioner though, sounds fantastic
I had (have) curly frizzy hair and mum used to fill a spray bottle with water and put some conditioner in there, worked well, I used it in high school too
