    Twin strollers - any feedback?

    Hello!
I have got (almost) 6 week old twin girls, and have currently got the Mountain Buggy Urban Elite Double. I love it as it's so easy to manouevre and walk around the neighbourhood with, but my husband refuses to let me take it in the car as he says it's way too heavy (17kg!).
So we are shopping for a twin stroller that can be left in the car for outings, and so far I am trying to decide between the Peg Perego Aria Twin 50/50 or the Valco Twin Ion.
Does anyone have these strollers and if so, do you have any comments?
    Thanks!

Hi! I'm afraid I have neither of those prams, although I did have a look/push of the twin aria in the babystore and it is incredibly light!! I also like how the seats actually look upright when they are in the 'upright' position - so many prams these days seem to have little ones in a leaning back, slumped position even when they are at their most upright position.
Good luck deciding - have you had a look at the reviews on prams and strollers dot com?

Your hubby is a very clever man!! I have a big, heavy pram that is fabulous for walking that never sees the inside of the car, and a double city mini which is really light weight that lives in the car that I use for shopping etc.

Can't make any comment about the Peg but I will say be careful with the Valco Ion. Its very light, easy to manouevre etc but when I went looking at them a few months ago found that my almost 12 month old and almost 24 month old basically couldn't fit - and they're very small girls. DD1 was too tall for it to be comfortable - she sort of had to hunch down a bit and width wise it was pretty tight for them both across the shoulders. The egg shape really compromises comfort for the kids.

I had a valco twin duo tandem was ok but not great turning. I have a Maclaren stroller and can turn with one hand, so I know their turning circles are great and also Maclarens are easy to close and put in the boot. We also have a steelcraft stroller and I cannot turn it with one hand or push it one handed. Cant go wrong with Maclaren.
