    Hi All!
I officially hate less expensive disposables (don't know if I'm allowed to say the name) on newborns.

Jeremy has had three blow out poos today because I used mostly sposies today!!

Gigi: Thanks for the advise on bamboo prefolds and/or boosters as that is exactly what I am planning on doing.

I only have a few sposies left so have to get my act together soon!!

WOHB: Peep-O bamboo fitted and ME Riki cover

hi, just so I dont miss this thread subscribing in the lazy way

Fluff - 80 nappies for one baby - man that is soooooo many, how long does it take you to get through them? And I am not being mean, but why have so many (yes I know they are pretty and addictive etc - but he would only wear each one once a week nearly I recounted and I do have 28 LOL but that is my limit - but I spose I have only been doing cloth for 4 months ....

    Subsribing to....

Well except for a sposie last night bub has been in cloth for two days and my nappies dried overnight so in them again today, yeah. 3 days in a row.

And the BBh bamboo is dry for tonight, that is what i am using and covers for night time. At this point she doesn't out wet them. Though I do find they smell by morning, is this normal.

WORB emerald minkie magical. She is having her morning sleep.

well Ash has 130, and he doesn't wear them all in a week but it's nice to have a wide range, and I can pack up the extra special ones for going out, we get LOTS of compliments and every outfit has a matching nappy or 2

I don't have anything else to spend my money on really, the kids have an oversupply of toys and clothes, and atleast with nappies I can onsell

130 wow, there is no way I could end up with that much, dh says I have to prove that it will cost the same as sposies, or less so have to keep to a minnimum. So i am looking at 4 night nappies and about 20 or so day ones.

I think at one point or another it becomes an addiction.
I'd rather put my money in a savings account, or trust for the kids, but that's just me!

Does anyone know how much Maz's breastpads usually go for? Thinking of just making my own but I'm lazy with so many other things on my sewing table at the moment.

wow 130! that is huge! at the moment I think I have about 24, and about to make a bunch of bamboo flats which will bring my count up... I'm addicted as well but due to financial constraints at the moment I can't endulge too much

Breast pads I'm not sure... I saw them on one of the sites the other day...

We're back in cloth. Dr had recommended while DD2 had nappy rash to put her in sposies but after three days and it getting worse, I put her back into cloth, bamboo against her skin and it seems to be better...

WOGB - cover and homemade booster

cat - your baby might have a synthetic aversion (as my DD had/has) have you got any silk or velour liners? they make a world of difference!

tan - definately try nikki at genessa forge - if you just give her an "idea" she comes up with the most amazing nappies. Serious art, not just a nappy!

    anyone score any widdlewuns?

I must say, I hardly have any non wahm nappies anymore, I love my aussie wahm stuff you just can't beat it!

wohb - abby gro slushie (pink and orange)

other people benifit from it too, Im supporting WAHM's and I have sent off massive packages to other mummas who want to start, to nappy drives for the bushfire, and to other people I meet that are truely interested in cloth. It's nice to be able to do that without having to worry if I have enough
I don't really give a rats what other people think lol it's my thing to spend my money on, and most will be put away for future bubbas (I want 6) so they will end up being cheaper than disposables in the long run.
My kids have generous savings accounts, well and truely going to be enough for a house deposit and a car at 18. Between child support and my extra money i've built that up over the years.
Oh and I might add that I am lucky enough to not have to justify it to any man

well all my nappies are washed and dried ... shock horror. Then Ash goes and does 3 craps! 3!! One after the other. The second time I was kicking myself that I didn't wait 5 more minutes to change him but then once again 10 minutes later there was that familiar smell...

its all good, he's in his gorgeous bumblebee gf
