With this pregnancy I was just over 10 weeks.

I can't remember the exact timing with my other 2 but I think it was a lot later with my first 2.

This time though I know what a kick is like. Feeling movements has gotten earlier to me each time.

There is a difference between movements and gas. You may not know at first but you will learn quickly.

DS was 16wks when i felt him move
DD was 12wks when i felt her move

Im not skinny but i am slim so i think it was easier for me to feel , i do think the subsequnet pg's are easier to recongise . i knew it wasnt gas when , if i felt movement and i poked hard and felt the movement again - that is wasnt gas

Everyone is different and so are the babies.

It can also depend on what you are doing. The busier and more active you are the less likely you are to notice early on. And ealry movements are necessarily a kick.

With this pregnancy I had what I thought was a kick first, then nothing else until the next night. I was in bed almost asleep with my hand on my tummy. I realised my belly was moving slightly back and forth under my hand. Once I realised though there was no way I could get it to happen again.

Babies are a law onto themselves. They will move when and where they want. Nothing can change that.

If you are worried talk to your doctor.

i was 22 weeks before i felt my bub kick, from 20 weeks onwards is considered the norm, (im an RN) with first pregnancies it can take a while but once they start they dont stop!
