It's easy to get cabin fever sometimes hey. Try popping into the NSW members area (further down the main forum page) to see if there are others in your area.

ETA: Here you go, I don't know NSW well enough to figure out if there's a specific thread for your area.

    Hi and welcome to BB
You can also look up the playgroup NSW website and run a search.
You are very welcome to join either of my playgroups. I go to a large one on a Tuesday @ Kellyville and a small one on Friday @ Thornleigh. Let me know if you'd like more details

I don't know how it is in NSW, but here in Melbourne you can get in touch with a mothers group via your local Maternal and Child Health service. I'd suggest giving them a call and seeing if they can help you out. If that doesn't work, your local council might have some information about parents groups running in your area.

    Good luck with it!

Georgiegirl ... give your local council a ring as 'some' playgroups are not listed, i have found this to be a great way to find local playgroups whereas the playgroup association don't have them ALL listed but having said that they are still worth giving a ring too or check out their website

No worries It's Friday though - don't come on a Thursday! he he.
We meet at Thornleigh Hillcrest Uniting Church at 10:30ish until 12ish. There is already another group meeting there in the big hall, but last time I checked their group was "full"... (And not very friendly, LOL!) So our little group meets in one of the meeting rooms. We are thinking that we may need to change days soon because the kids are out-growing the room. But we'll deal with that in a few weeks.
Ours is a very casual group, mainly we just meet for coffee and the kids do puzzles, stories, blocks... Just their own activities, not structured ones. And sometimes there are only a couple of us. But we are all nice people, LOL.
The kids: mine are the oldest and the youngest at 2.5yrs and 2 months. There is a boy who's 21mo, a 19mo girl and a 12mo girl and two of the ladies are preggers again, due early next year. Others have come and gone, but that's our core group. I don't think I can PM you because you haven't made enough posts, but I'll post my mobile number if you think you would like to come.

Oooh, have a lovely time on Friday - "me time" sounds divine
How about I will just keep an eye on this thread and you can let me know if your plans change and visa versa? I should be there Friday week unless something unforeseen (like sickness) crops up. Does that sound ok? (Rather than publishing our phone numbers on the net ) Either that or hurry up and post 30 times so I can PM you!
