Previous c section 2001, 2005, 2008 i am 11 weeks pregnant with bub number 5 1998 vbirth in 2001 i was left with trapped nerves after my c section, in 2001 i had a ventro suspension (lifting of my uterus) they cut out some of the old damage nerves this helped. after 2005 no issues with trapped nerves it just gets very cold there for some reason but no pain.
Yesterday in the morning i rolled over onto my tummie and i got a very nasty stinging pain inside where my old c section scar is. This went away after a few seconds thought it was strange nothing much to it i thought.
Last night im laying in bed and roll over to turn the light out and i lay on my tummie and start to stretch over (nothing i have not done before) and MY GOODNESS i was in pain, loads of it it was stinging really bad i was taking very deep breaths and it lasted a long time then went away and i could touch my scar and have no pain there.
What is this?
Have you experienced this?
Whats going on?
Is this a sign of a nasty pregnancy or what?
im not pregnant but youv described the pain i get from my scarred tissue in my abdo...it is painful....im not 100% sure though but it sounds like it is from the c/s....as the body heals adhesions form....speak to your doctor....if i can answer anything im here....congrats and take care.

well if i understand you right it, your pain is occuring in the same vicinity as your scars are? that's what happened to me (had hernia ops from when i was about 2 and 3 years of age) so it sounds like your scar tissue may be stretching...felt like someone stuck a knife in me..and the worst stitch i've ever had..couldn't move and sometimes would make me drop to my knees for a few minutes...but only when i moved or turned in a certain way...
..just be careful about those movements that set it off...no real biggie, just watch how you move for a while...and it doesn't mean you're in for a nasty pg..(i absolutely loved being pg..miss it heaps)
the pains do eventually stop can't remember about what time in my pg they did ..just didn't get the pains anymore..maybe into the 2nd tri i think..
Baby q - i thought the same.
I had bowel surgery as a baby and 18 years later i ended up in agony...now im on morphine to help the pain....most people arent affected as badly but the surgeon thinks having my appendix out 4 years ago may have triggered it....most women when having surgery arent made aware of adhesions.
Squidipa,
As I said in the pm i really hope you are ok huni.
Take care

so it could just be stretching, its a stabbing feeling!
The pulling feelings i can occasionally get is when my ligaments or uterus sticks to things and then peels off. VERY PAINFUL think this is due to the varages veins too.
Hiya, I've had the same awful pain for years when I stretch or twist certain ways from scarring from surgery from Endo. Like a hot poker or wicked cramp so it could just be scar tissue. I know with this pregnancy I have had that pain everyday as I get bigger with just tiny movements so I'm sure it's just the stretching. Not much help but at least you know it's probably nothing to do with bubs, cheers Missy
It might only be a muscle issue and not a scar issue. Occasionally if I moved a certain way while pg - usually rolling over in bed then I would get a huge muscle cramp/spasm across my stomach and the pain would take my breath away. It never lasted for long either, probably only a few seconds but holy dooley it felt like an eternity at the time. And I haven't had a c/s either. But considering your history it is something to be aware of anyay, but I hope it's just one of those things.
