    Floor sleeper.

We have been having a few issues with sleeping at our house over the last few months. It was at the stage where DH and I were taking turns sitting/laying next to DD's bed to get her to sleep and then during the night if she woke up. It was getting the better of us so last weekend we started control crying and it is definately working, and did on the very first night
However our new problem is that now DD will sleep but only on the floor! If we put her in her bed she cries and climbs out to curl up on the floor (there is a quilt down there for if she fell out of her bed). She is happy to fall asleep straight away on the floor but we would really like her to start sleeping in the bed. I think she is sleeping on the floor because she saw us sitting/laying there and DH actually slept there twice. Does anyone have any ideas for how to get her into her bed??????????? Would putting her mattress on the floor for a week and then trying the bed work?

Sorry this turned out to be a longer story than I thought

Is she in a bed or a cot??
Maybe let her go to sleep there, then put her in bed later? Or try that blanket on her bed??

She is in a toddler bed. We have tried moving her to bed after she is asleep and she sometimes goes into the bed quietly but then wakes up at about 12:30ish, cries and gets back out of bed. We can't think of anything that could make her hate the bed. I even took her shopping to choose a new blanket and quilt for the bed and she loved making it up with her new things but still wont sleep in there

I'd let her sleep on the floor. It won't do her any harm. Maybe the mattress is not comfortable for her? Maybe it's too soft if she's wanting to sleep on the floor??
