I know with Mackenzie I got one of these from the hospital when we had our classes and then got a second one after she was born. This time round I want one purely for the sample size of sudocream - it's perfect for the nappy bag!
Does anyone knwo where I would get the bonty bag from? I have asked a couple of chemists and they said they don't have them. Do I just wait till bubs is born? I thought they came in stages though?
I think you can get them at target maybe.
i never got any with Noah.
With Jacob i got one (the last one) at hospy after he was born - and it has the sudo sample in it.
not long to go now!!!
We use something other than sudocream - its a barrier cream so can get stuck in the fibres of cloth nappies and effect the absorbency. I use moogoo for our kids if they get red.
there is also a bounty bag website where you can order them and get them sent out but you have to pay for p&h. but its more than likely that they wont have the same samples in it as they did for you when you first got them. i found with second pregnancy the only thing in em were pamphlets and ads! :-/
I was told when I went in for my first midwives appointment (6-8 weeks ago) that they don't do them anymore!. This was in a Sydney Public Hospital. Has anyone else got one recently?
I got mine at my first hospital appointment, which was at about 12-ish weeks. I'm at the Mercy, and it was all part of their process. I had to fill in all of the paperwork, and then go through it all with the nurse, then they handed over my bag. It had the samples in it, too - and a WHOLE lot of advertising as well!
i just checked out the bounty bags website, and you're meant to get 3.
Mother To Be Bag - distributed by nurses or hospital staff to pregnant women when they visit the antenatal clinic for the first time or when they register at the hospital
New Mother Bag - distributed by nurses or hospital staff to new mothers during their stay in hospital after the birth of their baby
New Baby Bag - collected from Target stores nationwide using the redemption card received in the Bounty New Mother Bag
There's some information on the website about what's in each of the bags as well, not an itemised list or anything. There's also a link to a list of pharmacies where you can get them from, too.
I got mine from my first midwives appointment and then another the day after I gave birth. I went though the Royal Womens in Melbourne (Public). Sorry, hat's not really much help to you ??
