    Boy Names

    Hi all,

DH comes from a family FULL of boys.
Makes it really hard when trying pick a boy's name, all the good ones are taken....
    So far we like:

    Jack
    Joshua

But both are very common at the moment which puts me off.
Our surname is a common boys name in itself starting with M- also makes it hard...
    Please help!

PS Could all be in vain- we find out the sex on Friday.

Jack & Joshua are both nice, do you have a feeling it's a boy?

    What about:
    Tyler
    Zac
Max (not sure if will go with your m surname?)
    Jacob
    Alexander

We were hoping for a boy but #2 is another lil princess for mummy & daddy so struggling for girls names... good luck with it all

    Hi Nae Nae-
    Thanks!
    Girls names we have picked:
    Ashlee
    Skye
    Isabelle

Makes it hard also when DH's brother GF is also pregnant, a week behind me....
Trying to keep the names I like a secret- so can't ask opinions of his side...

    Hi Avasmum#1
    Thanks!
I do like Jacob and Zac..... Are they popular at the moment?
I have no idea what sex to predict, but as DH has so many boys in his family- everyone seems to think boy....
    I don't mind either way....

I haven't heard of many Jacob's or Zac's at the moment, i only know of 2 Zac's and they are both around 11mths old and so is the Jacob i know.

I love the name Isabelle we are thinking Isabelle for a girl aswell but now DP isn't so sure... it's doing my head in, our 10mth old is Ava Lilly and that was the one and only girls name we picked.... this time round is soooo hard!

We had Tyler William for a boy but seems it's not meant to be.

I hope DH's brothers GF doesn't keep hers secret and pop out the bubba before you, scary if you pick the same names... maybe see if she will give up some of hers to make sure your not on the same track?

I do really like Isabelle- but my DH isn't sure about it either!
I wish that DH brother GF would share, but she only wants me to share everything with her. and then steal it off me.
Not a very nice lady.... We have nothing to do with her...
Would be scary if we pick the same name, but apparently she's sure she's having a girl.

Well i will keep my fingers crossed for you that you have the opposite of each other and you don't choose the same names... lol

If i think of any others will let you know, otherwise keep us informed if it's a boy or girl after your scan... GL

Did you find out what you are having and did you decide on any names?

Also what about the family member, whats she having?

    Hi Emma,

I have a brother named Joshua. Middle name Raymond. So I'd go Joshua if it's a boy

An advantage of Joshua is that it's not as in vogue as Jack.

    Have fun with the decision!
