    Question need some serious help

Grrr, i hate choosing a name!! Is that bad?? hahaha
DH and i are hopeless and can't agree on anything.
We dont know the sex of bub, so we need a couple of boys, and a couple of girl names - and decide which suits him/her on the day.

So far for a girls name we both really like Arielle. (Pronounced Ahh-ree-elle)
Another girls name we have is Tayla.. but we don't love it as much - its kinda just there because we're desperate.
What middle name would you think fits well with Arielle?
We're thinking, "A rielle Nyah" (desperately hopeing she looks like an arielle when she comes out, our last name is btw).

Boys names are A LOT more tricky, we can't decide on anything we both like. We've got a list of (2's and 3's - we rate it to eachother to express how much we like them, haha). Our boys list is -
Jacob (will probably be a middle name)
Alby (DH absolutely LOVES this name, after Alby Mangels (sp) but i think its a bit girly.. wdyt?)
Hunter (I love it, DH isn't so keen)
Riley (we both like this name, but don't love it)
Theo (my TOP TOP choice, i absolutely love it, but DH is not keen on it)

Soooo i'm not too sure what i'm asking.
Girls names you think i'd like?
    A middle name for Arielle?
Boys names you think i'd like?
What do you think of the boy name Alby??

Thanks... sorry for being long and boring in this post, haha

I think Arielle is just GORGEOUS and Nyah for a middle name is tops as well....

I don't rate Alby, but that's just me. I'm a fan of Jacob and I do like Theo too.

I say, if you give birth to it...you should name it!!

    Good luck

Haha, Minimax thankyou! Unfortunately DH doesn't agree that i should have naming rights, lol
Still got a few weeks to convince him. I think Theo Jacob sounds perfect - we'll see!!!

i dont necessarily think you need more than one name picked out! we only ever had one of each regardless of whether it 'suited' them or not!! i remember both times as soon as we discovered what we'd had be automatically said their name and that was that! i think having more than one and having time to think about may sway your mind IYKWIM, if you both love a name, stick with it and go with it!!
    i love arielle!

Arielle is a beautiful name!!! Not too sure about Nyah myself, but thats just me

I knew a guy who's nick name was "Alby" and hmmmm ummmm wasn't a very trust worthy person. I really dislike this name for that reason (it's funny how other people tarnish names of us!). Hunter is by far my fave!!! DH and I would Looooove a Hunter, but DH hunts in his spare time, so I wouldn't have it myself (I wish DH would take up a new hobby )

GL with it all, I hope you agree soon! I know what it's like!!!

I like Arielle too - I nearly picked it Arielle or Ariel for DD... she would have been Ariel Honor.

Ohh Arielle is pretty. (I love Arielle Honor by the way)

Not sure if I'm much help with your boys names, but if you need new ideas, try googling Nymbler, we've found that helpful for finding names similar to ones we already liked.

tellytubby = steal away! I'd be delighted, we have used Honor for DD's middle name so we can't use that combo now.

I have always loved the name Arielle - its somewhere in my top 5!! Its also the name of an archangel ()
Because it is 3 syllables I think a 1 or 2 syllable middle suits best.
I love Jade, but I also think the middle name you've chosen is pretty and unique.

Alby is also on our list - DH really likes it, although I felt it was somewhat lacking in strength compared with some of the other names we have chosen. In its favour - its easy for a child to spell and pronounce.
And for the others (from most-liked to least-liked); Riley, Jacob, Theo, Hunter.

I'm so jealous that your last name is James..... I love that name! Lol. Last names have a way of ruining the sound of your favorite names!!

    Good luck deciding.

    Hi Telly

I love love love what you said earlier. Theo Jacob James. It flows really, really well.
I think Alby sounds a little like a girl name, but it might be because it's similar to names like Ally and Abby? Maybe? Riley is a cute name too.

I like the look of Arielle Nyah James. But how would Nyah be pronounced ~ sorry I've never heard of it before! But as I said in our due date group, I lovee Arielle.

If you still like Tayla, I think it'd go well: Arielle Tayla James, but Arielle Nyah James is still my fave (:

I know an Alby but his full name is Alban so that is a bit stronger. You could consider Alban Jacob and then he could be known as Alby.

OMG, i remember Alby Mangels ... yeh, not like he was an ugly guy, & 'that' gorgeous girlfriend on his tours (every guy in Aussie admired him). Geez even my Mum had a crush on him ... Yes, i have to say Alby sounds like a girl's name (so sorry) !!

Now ... Arielle Nyah James .... I just love, love, love it ... So BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!

(would you believe my 1st name ends in 'elle' and my middle name is after my Mum's StepDad James and my surname is like a christian name too )

thepixie... ARIELLE HONOR sounds just so gorgeous (I'm in big favour of that too )

    heehee, thanks ladies

i think you've definately confirmed that if we have a beautiful girl, she will be Arielle s. (The pixie, i love honor, but DH thinks nyah flows better with our surname).

AJP - i read your post to DH too, and i think we both see what you're talking about. We both LOVE Arielle, so why would you chose a name you don't love as much? thanks for the thoughts

Bondi - Nyah - think of Myer the department store, but with an 'N'. Does that help? I've never heard of the name either, we were just going through one of our many name books reading possible middle names, and when we came to it, it just felt 'right' IYKWIM.

Now the only thing we have to agree on is our boys name.... ohh its never ending!! Smiles4U - yep alby mangels!! haha, Dh thinks its a champion name! Not sure if he thinks the name is champion, or the person is champion. haha, either way i totaly agree - a bit girly

I'm still working on Theo. I'm at the point where he has agreed to put it on the list, but i think thats just to amuse me. He thinks its a 'girly' name too. And when he says it he puts on a gay voice... no idea where he is getting that reference from!!
