Oh I hate to say this, but It was well into the crawling stage for me... Like 9mo or thereabouts... But it got less and easier once he was sitting and moving, and then one day I noticed it was gone... Sorry..... (p.s. solids didn't help stop the pukes either)
mine is still going strong, and he doesnt have reflux.
Some days there will be none, others it feels liek he loses a full feed, and others its just little pieces.
My DD did huge projectile spews 1 or 2 times a day for the first few months but we seem to now be down to about once a week . It's not much fun is it? I took to taking a spare change of clothes out for her AND me. Hope it slows up for you and your washing machine soon!
DD1 was a vom baby until ~10months - once she moved to more solids... It is a drag! Funny I still am amazed at the lack of it from DD2.....much less washing. Hope it passes soon.
Hhhhhmmmmm sounds like we are in for a long haul then
Poor DH finds it terribly frustrating, he's not very good at catching it and seems to end up having to change DS's clothes after every nappy change he does.
Good old cloth terry flat nappy over the shoulder or up under DS chin worked wonders for me. I had them all over the house and car and pram and in all my bags for easy access...
it took jayda until about 6months.
we used to use the terry flats as spew rags aswell but most of the time it didnt help much cause they were huge projectile ones. not only did she go through so many clothes so did who ever was feeding her. also i dont kwno if it was changing formulas that helped either or her growing out of it. we changed to NAN HA around that time and she seemed to slow down after that.
Yes, yes, DS's washing usually consists of about 20 cloth nappies (I use sposies on his bottom lol) and one or two outfits. I don't know what we'd do without the spew rags!!!
Starting solids slowed down DS1s spewing. Before that he was a spew machine, just didn't seem to know when to stop drinking. The solids seemed to fill him up enough so he didn't just stay on the boob until he was overflowing. Not sure when it stopped completely but I think it was about 6 or 7 months.
