How bad is pen ink?

DS managed to get hold of a pen and put it in his mouth. It's a gel ink pen, where the ink is quite wet. Does anyone know how toxic these are? The worrying!

Oh dear.
I don't know, sorry, but pretty sure my DS has swallowed worse and he's still alive and kicking.

It wasn't much, and DS seems completely fine. I looked up the pen, and it's non-toxic... but still, I can't help but worry. Hopefully it's over nothing.
