Ah new thread started while my internet was down over the weekend...
not about to go back and try to catch up - too sleep deprived with the new bubba!

I have him in sposies at the moment - needed a rest from a few things - and a neighbor gave me some newborn nappies as her son has outgrown them. When they are gone I'll put him back in cloth.

So nothing to report - just wanted to pop in and say hello!

I don't know about this nappy hunt? Sounds time consuming though - and I feel guilty even being on here now when I have too many things to get through Have decided if we get this new house (if the damn bank ever stops screwing with us) I'm going to buy another swim nappy for DD plus for my nephews (it has a pool) plus I might as well buy some large nappies while I'm doing all that. Have my heart set on a couple of MagicAlls and a couple of GF's, maybe a couple of large covers. My DD is skinny so the Med covers should fit fine, but she's getting to be very long and I'm having trouble getting them to fully cover the rises - is that weird? She's only about 8.5kg...

    .

My lil girl is long too and the only reason we had to stop using newborn nappies is because her bum crack wasn't covered and her business would explode up her back. I'm going to try the one size fits most more to cover length needed as she grows. She seems to be getting a tiny bit chubby then getting all scrawny because she has mega length growth spurt

Mine kiddos have a long rise too. There are a few nappies about with a long rise but I started making them for C because of our rise issues.

blurgh - poosplosion last night from a new nappy we were trying out. looked to fit ok when we put it on, but obviously had a smidge of leg gape. thankfully the poppet was wrapped cos my bro's MIL was holding her at the time... poop alllllll the way to her socks! ah well... the twinkle lily smalls may have to wait a little longer before they fit properly lol

got my custom CK Auriels yesterday - i am in luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurve! will have to move some stuff so i can get at the dress and take some pics together - they look just divine!

have been such a good girl and not bought anything on the hunt (yet!) but i don't know how long i can hold out... have made contact for a custom sling though...

WOEB - a flat and Maz NB cover. i think we're gonna have to retire the last of the NB covers and graduate to smalls... they still fit around E nicely - just not good in the rise... sigh - i love them covers (and have used them to death the past 14 weeks...). i don't have as many smalls so will have to be on top of the washing more lol

Girls I must say I'm quite disappointed in you. I thought you would have gone through 2 or 3 threads by the time the wedding and honeymoon was over. You've only just started a new one!!!

Well more later, best get unpacking.
