    Opinions please..

    Id just like some feedback on the girls name Ave (ah-vay) and if its a bit to biblical to use Maria as the middle name?

    hmmmmm personally I think its too much like the song (hymn) so would not be my choice HOWEVER if you like it go for it

    If you're okay with everyone assuming that your bub is named after the song (is/was it originally a Catholic hymn?), I think Ave is a pretty name and middle names aren't used too often in every day life anyway.

    I've gotta say though, I think I'd feel a bit wrong yelling AVE MARIA YOU COME HERE THIS MINUTE.

    I like Ave but think Ava is better.

    Ave Maria does sound like the hymn sorry >.<

    Ave on its own yes, but not with Maria... to me it would be like calling your child Virgin Mary or Holy Mary... too much like the hymn.

    Ave Maria has amused me a bit! I probably wouldn't pick it myself. But if you like it, go with it. I was nearly named Michelle after a Beatles song, which is a bit dating. It's my middle name, with a "fashionable" name that dates even worse!

    How about Ava Nagila as another name option?

    I like Ave. Actually I'd probably spell it Ave`. But not with Maria sorry.
