So I ahve started packing my hospital bag but when it comes to the babies clothes I haven't got a clue what October weather is like???
Anyone if you can help please do! My Dp said that spring is pretty much every season so not much help!
My DD was born in the middle of a heatwave. Absolutely stinking hot, but in hospital she was rugged up. She always had a singlet and a long suit on and all wrapped up in blankets.
I think it has more to do with the hospital temp rather than the temp outside. But new babies usually need help maintaining their body temperature.
My hospital provided all the blankets, so I just varied how many of them were on her, rather than her clothes.
Kass i've gotta agree with Clint ...last Oct here in Ballarat was like ' all seasons' ... LOL, i just asked Ads & his response to the Oct weather here is " It's Off and On " (meaning it could be coldish one day & sort of warm but not hot the next)
I had Miss C at the Base on a freezing cold day and my private room was roasting hot ... i so hope that doesn't happen for you ... BigW still sell (as saw 'em the other day) the style of Summer Maternity thin t.shirt nightie i wore in hosp, it was my lifesaver
