    Question Little squirt question

The little squirt looks like a good idea I'm just wondering for those who have one if the water sprays around alot? Is it messy or does it just squirt the nappy without making too much of a spray around the outside of the loo??

depends on how hard you squeeze the leaver and how low in the loo your holding the nappy and the angle of the squirter i couldnt live with out mine

pretty much so they have great pressure, i can get a splat or too still after about 6 months now using it pressure is so good we are in a highset Queensland so thought it would be crap but it isnt. We also have fleece liners and this helps for the poop to wash off easily. Much better doing with squirter than scraping and tap and quicker and more hygienic.

That answers my next question too I was going to ask about the pressure

Nappies is my next adventure, very confusing, we had terry flats and disposables when I had DS1&2 now there's AIO's, AI2's, pre-folds, pockets, snap ins, fitteds, and not to mention all the different brands LOL things are soooo different now, but alot of good ideas I think I'll definitely get a little squirt to go with whatever kind of nappies I go with.

we waited about 2months before buying one and it amkes a massive difference. yeah things change i used terry flats with dd and dispoables with the other 3 but this time i needed to save money so we use aio's and fitteds one size fits most. There are loads on around try getting ya hands on some second hand ones different types and test them out not everything fits your bub.

Thanks squidipa (a little off topic now) I was thinking I'd get some flats to start with and like you said try out some different ones fitted aio's etc to see which ones work for bub then stock up on the ones that work the flats would come in handy later as spares or chuck up cloths etc...then of course I need to decide what covers to use with the flats in the mean time

do tho take the time to think about if you will be re using these nappies for another bub and how much in the end your willing to spend on nappies. We started buying nappies that fitted just for small periods of time like mediums and now we cant use them as we are in larges... so didnt get a LOT of use out of them. Should have started with one size fits all would have saved us lots as they grow so can the nappies.

We now have Loads of one size fits all so next bub due next year can be in same nappies as josiah whom is 1. No more spending IYKWIM. Night time nappies are well worth the $$$ we actually have picked to use baby beehinds there is a bb member here whom sells them. They are good priced and they work for us, Our range consists of

one size fits all hemp baby beehinds
one size fist all bamboo baby beehinds
    magical baby beehinds
we have one cushie tooshie conture and its good!!! too as good as the magical nearly

the magical's we use at night they can last us up to 12 hours not that we get the luxury of using them for that long but have when had a good run of sleep

next bub ill be using flats till baby is large enough for one size fits all have about 9 newborn magicals ill use them at night, i bought these second hand. We decided that we didnt need to go for style as such there only in use for holding wee and crapping in so buying a fancy thing that would be as good didnt appeal to us personally. Rather save our money! We also use cloth wipes saving us $5 a week and $20 a week on nappies this automatically gets saved its building up quite quickly

Thanks again squidipa... no more babies here to follow so very good advice!
What kind of flats do you use? And covers?
And yeah I'll definitely be getting cloth wipes big money saver and less potential nasties in them too I would imagine.
