well i found out about a week ago that DH's step sister named her son James the same as DS and it made me so mad DH warned me she didnt think about other ppl the funny thing is her DH picked the name but no she couldnt say my brother just named his baby that maybe not a good idea

ive never met her coz at our wedding she was on her honeymoon but still there pretty closely related and any family gathering they will be there

im just so mad grr

wat do u do in this situation?

funny thing is it gives me an excuse to call him jamie in front of MIL which i intend to do anyway but she has told me i shouldnt and i should let him decide wether he wants to use it or not and i should put his prefered name as james when i send him to school but the only reason i called him that was only for the birth certificate and when hes an adult incase jamie is too childish

coz i named him after my stepdads friend that passed and he was called jamie up until he died at 35 official name James im so sick of her but thats another thread all together
