    When to lower cot?

    Hello,

My little boy is 8 1/2 months old, and has been commando crawling and getting up on his knees for some time.
Today I found him on his knees and with his hands on the edge of the cot? Is it time for us to lower the cot to the lower level? Or can I wait a bit longer
as it's hard to get his 10kg into the cot asleep at the higher level.

If it helps, We have a Boori cot.

    Thanks
    Carole

If he's pulling himself up on the side I would lower it now before he can fully stand up.

Ye, I thought so. I'll get Matt to do it next weekend.

See you this wednesday for the welk to North Melbourne.

Yep you don't want 10kg of Jacob hitting the floor!

    See you Wednesday

I would drop it asap, ds recently got up on his knees, then promptly he stood up and then came tumbling down and knocked his head quite heavily on the cot. I got dh to drop it that night and it wasn't actually that hard suprisingly. We have a boori cot also.

    Thankyou for your advice

    Hi,
I got the cot down tonight. I had to do most of it myself and got matt in at the end to help with the tricky bit.

Now I am not worried about Jake chucking himself over the top anymore.
