    Angelcare monitor not working

The other day I took DD out of her cot and forgot to turn the monitor off and the alarm went off 1/2 an hr later!!!!!!!!!!! Not cool!!
So, what's making it go?? Can the fan do it?? Must be pretty sensitive. Do I need to change the settings?

Do you have a fan in her room? If so, that could be the problem. Can you change the sensitivity?

Yeah, the fan is on. I read the instructions and it said don't change the sensitivity and nothing about what you need to do if it does need to be changed. So I don't know what to change it to, lol.

Oh how frustrating! I have heard that fans can stop the alarm from going off, I don't know what to suggest because I'm guessing you need the fan! Do they have a number you can call or an email address you can use to ask the manufacturer?

We had the same problem with the airconditioning we have in DS's room. My DH played with the sensitivity setting on the back of the childs room unit until he got it to work while the fan was going. We tend to test it every couple of days as well, just so that we can be sure it is working. GL
