    baby sleep !

just putting it out there for anyone ! its helped me !

but my little boy noah was having trouble sleeping, and I was only having 4 hrs sleep per night.i was struglling with having so little sleep. he just wouldnt settle and sleep, and trying to get him into a sleeping pattern was near impossible!
then my sister gave me an instrumental piano CD.
she said that it worked for her so I gave it a try.. and its worked a treat ! for the last 3 weeks, noah has been settling down and sleeping better than ever. i play it 30mins before bed time and continue playing it for maybe another hr or so afterwards?
also besides my sister I dont know anyone that uses music to help their newborn sleep? does anyone reading this use music? good results bad results?

I know in my case for the moment this music regardless to say has been my savior.
so I tried to find the website but I couldnt, so after a while of goolgeing I found it.
its justinhunterbaby and on there you can listen to the music and read other parents posts.
let me know what you think ! im alot happier for it !

DD listens to music at ever sleep time. Regardless of when it is.
Also has a warm bath before bed time as well.

    baby sleep !

i tried bathing him, but it seemed to wake him up ! rather than calming him down.
at least we have the music huh ? i actually just bought another cd last night off the website, im adding to my collection ! should see the site, its so cute. has a baby crying at the start, house lights come on, then the music starts to play, the baby stops crying and the lights go off as the screen angles up towards the stars. all the links are stars. very cute

So glad you were able to find something that works. I often use a white noise machine that plays a wide range of soothing sounds. It's been a huge help too! I haven't tried CD's but i also sometimes sing DS to sleep.

Charlie has had music in his room from about 3months when we too had trouble getting him to sleep, day & night he has it. CD or radio, we mix it up so he's not used to just one thing & I don't switch it off. I find now he's great with tunes & music & wonder if that's why. Makes it great when we have noisy visitors around too, he doesn't hear a thing.

    baby sleep

i never thought of that ! accustomising them to sleep would allow a certain amount of noise to be heard without them being affected and waking up !
